Since its launch a year ago, Talent Seed, a website cofounded by Esteban Blactot, MiM student, has attracted over 600 diverse companies and more than 4,000 students. The platform reverses the traditional internship search model by promoting a different approach. In this parallel universe, it's not the students who apply, but the companies that search for their candidates.
A simplified quest tailored for students
Talent Seed invites students to create a detailed profile, visible to recruiters, which includes their personal information, aspirations, and criteria for an ideal internship. Companies can then filter and contact candidates who match their criteria, thus reducing the time students spend on applications.
Encouraging students to broaden their search horizons
Students tend to limit their searches to certain offers or sectors. Talent Seed broadens their horizons by enabling recruiters to approach them directly. This provides a better understanding of market needs and widens the field of possibilities.
