TEACHING GLOBAL LUXURY AND FASHION for MSc LFM Program

 

SKEMA Business School invites applications for teaching opportunities to maintain and develop its reputation for excellence in high quality teaching, starting from September 2020.

The successful candidate must possess a good track record.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

The successful candidate shall have a University Degree (Master degree or above), and minimum three years’ teaching experience in relevant field in a higher education institution, and/or five years’ of international management practice or successful entrepreneurial experience. A good knowledge and practice of global luxury and fashion will be appreciated, particularly in China. A visa allowing residence and work/professional activity in the People’s Republic of China is required for non-Chinese citizen.

Our students are international and have high expectations of their courses. We run continuous assessment throughout the semesters to track students’ progress. 

 

As part of the teaching team, you can expect to take part in activities, such as:

  • Syllabus development and materials development
  • Creating and evaluating progress tests and assessments
  • Other benefits and arrangements as SK faculty member

 

COURSE REQUIREMENT

 

Designed for 18 hours, this course provides a wide understanding of the global luxury brand management and marketing environments, global markets and marketing programs. Specific fashion topics include: a) definition of luxury with identification and understanding of global luxury brands; b) global luxury brand management and marketing, with emphasis on brand equity, brand loyalty, brand extension and intellectual property; c) opportunities and challenges for luxury brands; d) creation and management of global luxury brand programs. More specific cases (wines and spirits, Nike) will be taught by professionals.
