Joint hosting of CMSS annual conference

An important milestone in the development of the SGMCC has been its successful partnership with the Chinese Management Science Society (CMSS), one of the very few professional organisations set up and supported by the authorities in China. Since 2016, SGMCC has been honoured to be designated the organizer of the Academic Conference of CMSS’s Annual Meeting. SGMCC’s long-term partnership with CMSS in running the academic conference has helped brand SKEMA’s image as a comprehensive business school.

At the 2018 Academic Conference, SGMCC managed to invite two more SSCI journals, both at level C, to attract more young academics to submit papers to the October academic conference.

b. SKEMA Global Management Series

SGMCC managed to publish the following papers (case studies) through consulting projects undertaken by its part-time associates. The cases were written in Chinese with abstracts in English. The publications were edited by the Director of SGMCC in collaboration with Soochow University.

c. Research

SCMCC undertakes general research for both internal and external clients. It also supports academic research initiated by SKEMA staff or students. Currently, the following projects are making good progress:

“Possible revenue generated by SKEMA’s new business license”
