I decided to do the MSc taught by Tarek Amyuni after a gap year where I worked in treasuries at Cofidis and then in a trading room at UBS. My main concerns were to do a well-ranked MSc that has a wide-ranging programme allowing me to work not only in trading rooms, but also in corporate finance. All the courses were taught in English and many exercises made us use the Bloomberg room. The workload is quite intense which makes the second term challenging, especially when we’re looking for jobs at the same time. Concerning the job, I’ve secured a post at UBS Luxembourg thanks to this MSc. I was recruited before the end of my studies. To sum up, I have found the Financial Markets & Investments programme to be an extremely valuable MSc, which is much appreciated within banks and finance.
