Imagine having classes with 25 students of 10 different nationalities! On the MSc International Human Resources & Performance Management I’ve experienced cultural diversities and challenges throughout the year. Sometimes the cultural divide would create difficult obstacles to overcome, but these were valuable learning experiences. The second semester’s classes have been excellent– very practical; the knowledge acquired is closely connected to the professional world because the lecturers have a lot of professional experience. There has been real diversity in lecturers too. That’s helped us comprehend the complexity of HR issues. The in-company practice we got has been another advantage of this MSc. My group carried out an audit in a large company’s (Cargill) HR department in Sophia Antipolis. It was very useful practical application. My communication skills have seen real advances thanks to, among other things, the Negotiation Skills class. Added to that, I have progressed significantly in terms of international and cross-cultural communication. And I can now understand all the different accents there are in English too!
